Who wrote this?
I'm Steve Kirtley, a developer and EV driver based in Wales. I switched from Octopus Intelligent Go to EDF Go Electric in May 2026 after Octopus raised prices and began enforcing the 6-hour dispatch cap.
The piece that was missing was a HomeAssistant integration for EDF — so I built one. HomeAssistant-EDFEnergy is a fork of BottleCapDave's excellent Octopus integration, adapted for EDF's API. It's MIT Licensed and open to contributions.
